I’m a good girl, I am.

(Journal: August 1, 2010)

Mr. Rupert “Why do you have to be gay?” Everett.

I had the biggest crush on him at the height of My Best Friend’s Wedding’s popularity. I knew in my heart that whatever hopes I had were false and that whatever fantasies were, or at least had to be, futile…but I still swooned over the gay guy.

I saw him recently at Chichester Festival’s Pygmalion/My Fair Lady.  Playing the pivotal Mr. Higgins, he blew me away with his ability to shape shift and immerse himself in the character. Props to him for playing straight. More props to him for playing straight in a straight play.

Mr. Everett, you were amazing. Please take me?

I’m a good girl, I am. Haha.
