Hello! I’m Sab and I have Hyperthyroidism, secondary to my autoimmune disorder, Graves’ disease . I decided to create this tab as some kind of support page for my fellow autoimmune warriors out there. I’ll be uploading information and tips as I continue to wrestle with this disease.
I was diagnosed in June 2018 but I already had the symptoms as early as 2016. We caught mine quite late, hence the long and uphill battle. I’m on my fourth endocrinologist and second anti-thyroid drug. I was previously on Tapazole (Methimazole) for my thyroid and Inderal/Lanoxin for my heart. I am now on Propylthiouracil and Hepatoprotector for my liver (since it’s been heavily damaged from all the medication).
If I can help at least one person out there, this battle would not be for nothing.
