Isabella “Sab” Jose is a theater actress and entrepreneur, among other things. She is the Marketing and Public Relations Director of The Sandbox Collective (http://thesandboxcollective.com/) , a multimedia theater organization and sister company of Nine Works Theatrical (No Filter, No Filter 2.0, Imaginarium, Pillowman, The Boy in the Bathroom, Dani Girl). She also co-owns and manages The Black Fleet, a line of luxury vehicles, alongside her siblings.
Sab has appeared in various professional productions in Manila namely, Grease the Musical (9 Works Theatrical), Shrek the Musical (Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group), Peter Pan (Repertory Philippines), RENT and The Wedding Singer (9 Works Theatrical). An alumnus of Ateneo Blue Repertory and graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, she pursued post graduate studies in Marketing at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
She directed Shared Spaces, an original monologue and song cycle by Ateneo Blue Repertory, alongside Bibo Reyes. Sab doubled as acting coach and assistant director for both runs of No Filter, alongside Toff De Venecia. Most recently, she was the assistant director of Robbie Guevara for 9 Works Theatrical’s American Idiot.
Sab was a contributor and also the Managing Editor of No Filter published by Summit Books. She is currently finishing her MFA in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting, University of Surrey, U.K.
