The Story of Us

Hi, everyone!

Attempting to revive this blog the best way I know how—by speaking from the heart. Here’s hoping it won’t take years for me to write again. After all, this blog has been my canvas, and time capsule of sorts.

Love and Light,

Sab

My work is my life. It’s not to say that my relationships take the back seat. Then again, it hit me hard the other day; I got married half a year ago and it didn’t really make the highlight reel that is my newsfeed. My work did though.

So today, I’ll give work a bit of a respite and share some of my favorite moments from our wedding.

To my husband, I know that the past 6 months have been less than ideal—what with my health woes, the impossible work schedule, our PTWD (Post Traumatic Wedding Disorder), the fights (both petty and major), among other things that came with the gift of marital bliss and chaos. I know we haven’t been able to savor it as much as we would have wanted but I promise we’ll go on that honeymoon soon. If anything, the 6 months have led us closer to Him and to each other. Life can go haywire but at the end of the day, nothing else matters.

P.S. Revisited my wedding vows today. It’s amazing how everything still rings true. To those who bother reading this, fair warning: Mush ahead. Read at your own risk!

Happy Half-nniversary, James!

Love,

Your Wife
